In a time when music has proven to be definitely one of the most influential factors shaping the ideology and behavior of modern society, a Trio consisting of brothers, have come together to cleverly compose good music in a wide scope of genres. Just about anything then falls in between.
The member of Eclectic as the is group is called, go by the individual names of Ray, Shawn and McCoy. Though paternal origination suggest that they hail from Lagos State, their maternal lineage provide them with a southern touch as their mother hails from Cross River State of Nigeria. So diversity is evident not only in their musical style but also in their pedigree as well.
Eclectic have been on ground for quite a while. The group had released a single titled “Na Eclectic” in 2005 which was an introductory song for the group. However, they had had challenges doing music and going through the University at the same time. They are all graduates of the University of Calabar and presently have to two singles title “Change the Stylee” and “Kolo Kolo” which have begun to receive massive airplay. They have already recorded over ten tracks for their debut album but would like to feature some already established, huge and talented artists out there.
The new members of Eclectic are very social and have a long list of artists who they have found inspiring. Some of these include the Late Michael Jackson, ABBA, Bonny M, Usher, Late DaGrin, MI, 2Face amongst others. They have carefully selected special tracks that would ultimately steal the heart of the public. It would definitely be wise to watch out for this uncontrollable force as they hit the music industry.
